Can I post the Portuguese translations I make?

Posted under General

We use notes because we want to keep the original language visible. This lets us improve the translations if necessary. A hard translation is a one-and-done deal, and because the original text is removed, it is more difficult to check whether it's accurate.

Not only is the image itself considerably low quality and likely to not get approved but it is a third-party edit (hard-translated (non-english)), downscaled and not in English. You should by all means be using notes and translations via notes should be in English, not to another language. ETA: See howto:translate for more information.

If you look at the quality of my image, it's not bad and it's 1700x1246 pixels. So when it comes to image quality, I can guarantee it! I just don't know if there's this problem here where you can't send an image that isn't in English! Because that way I wanted to send the image translated into Portuguese, you know?

The original is 4870x3571 so on the topic of resolution, it is inferior to the original image. The resolution of your edit is worse than the original, the quality of the image itself isn't compatible with Danbooru standards (this doesn't relate to its size but rather the way it's drawn itself) and what you're suggesting is against the uploading rules. Use notes to translate and translate into English, otherwise don't upload it at all, it will get deleted. Click on the yellow and blue text in my previous reply for more information.

@Blank_User And so speaking as a Brazilian, the level of English is average and not everyone knows English, I don't know myself, I use AI to do the translations into Portuguese and putting our Brazilian slang while maintaining the original meaning of the sentence. I don't like this "notes" because it doesn't show the translation right away. If the image language is in English and there is some translation, whether in Portuguese or Spanish, I have to go there and click, and then it would appear. Think about it. If there is more than one balloon, it would be a pain to do this instead of already having an image that has a language you understand. I don't know if I can talk about other sites, but r*l*34.X*X was like that at least when I accessed it, I just don't know if I'll change it now.

But @Blank_User I always put the URL of the original publication because it doesn't get in the way if you want to see English because if you want to see the original publication, just click and it will take you there! Because I think so, I think this will at least bring the Brazilian public to see more images that I didn't translate from that author, you know! I can be wrong, I can, but what do I think? What do I want to know and is it okay or not? Send it already translated without "notes"

AI translations aren't allowed here either btw.
I understand you don't find the notes system convenient, but Blank User already explained why we use it; However, this system allows notes to be embedded if you go through the extra effort (basically they will appear directly on the image as if it was part of it, while keeping the possibility to disable the notes and see the original text underneath).
-> about:embedded notes

Keep in mind the site's language is english, so translations here should be in english anyway.
