The Ultra Series implications

BUR #31616 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create alias ultra_father -> father_of_ultra
create alias ultra_mother -> mother_of_ultra
create alias seven's_superior -> chief_of_ultraseven

Another set of name standardization ala Joneus. The first two have been consistently rendered as Father of Ultra and Mother of Ultra by Tsuburaya over the years, and it's the names you'll find used everywhere basically. The last one is a bit more iffy, but moreso because Tsuburaya forgets this dude exists most of the time, so renderings in English are few and far between. The few instances that exist though go with Chief of Ultraseven (as opposed to like, Chief of Seven, per his name in Japanese), enough so that the Ultraman Wiki has gone with that name since late September of last year.

BUR #32459 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

remove implication ultraman_the_next_(movie) -> ultra_series
create implication ultraman_the_next_(movie) -> ultraman_nexus_(series)

Thinking on it, following in line with the other movie implications, it might make sense to have the 2004 Ultraman movie imply Nexus' tag, functionally having the Nexus tag also serve as the tag for the Ultra N Project. Tagging practice-wise, that seems to be the case already, with each post with the movie tag also having the Nexus series tag, so we may as well formalize it.

BUR #34502 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

rename ultraman_suit -> ultraman_suit_(hero's_comics)

This tag refers to a specific sort of power armor inspired by Ultramen that appear in the Monthly HERO'S manga ULTRAMAN, but it has been mistagged before by people thinking it refers to Ultramen bodysuits. The solution I've come up with to solve that just adds the qualifier used for the manga, _(hero's_comics), since at minimum it makes people secondguess themselves if they see the tag while tagging.

*sigh* Well, I tried. It seems like all of my efforts are just going to waste.

Unless, I could do it again, when another chance comes. You'll see.

I don't think there's anything to be concerned about. Often times BURs will end up being auto-rejected because they end up slipping through the cracks for one reason or another, especially since you only have a handful of folks going back through them to approve.

The only thing I could imagine that might've stopped the BUR from being approved when mine was would have to be the apparent inconsistency of the character tags to the average reader here, since "Why is Ultraman Nexus Anphans while Orb Trinity? Why Ultraman Mebius (Mebius Burning Brave) while Glitter Trigger Eternity? Why 'Dynamic Type (Ultra Series)' instead of Ultraman Decker (Dynamic Type)?" etc. For some of these the answer is that that's just how their names are rendered, akin to how League of Legends and Overwatch skins are rendered in contrast to general gacha skins, but without being familiar with the franchise it could confuse easily. It's either that or there's so few posts for some of these tags that it eliminates them from implication, though that shouldn't be an issue, so I think it's the 'consistency' issue.

*sigh* Well, I just didn't know anymore. I realized I could've done a BUR to rename the tags for the Form Changes, but I was too laser-focused on doing this. To be frank here, it's not really my fault as to why the names of the tags are inconsistent. I would chalk up to some folks having a different idea, as to how the tags are labeled. And the reason why I didn't add Multi Type and Flash Type to the BUR, is because the people here didn't bother to specify the tags, like for example, "Ultraman Tiga (Multi Type)", or "Ultraman Trigger (Multi Type)". This is something that made me scratch my head with this, but I rolled with it anyway, 'cause that's how some people tagged it as such.

So, as a result of that, I will do a BUR regarding the name changes to remedy this issue. I won't leave any stone unturned, until my efforts pay off. I know I may come off, as a bit too hopeful, but trust me, I will try to make it work. If I don't succeed, I'll try, try again.

I think it's overkill to create multiple costume or alternate form tags for characters that only have a few dozen posts. And as non-Ultraman enjoyer it's hard for me to judge the correctness and necessity of all this, especially in the absence of feedback from others.

I don't disagree, given my previous stances against the maximalist tagging approach when it comes to skins, variants, costumes, etc. (per topic #26611) but unless past decisions end up getting reverted on the issue, this is the practice we're stuck on.

And as non-Ultraman enjoyer it's hard for me to judge the correctness and necessity of all this, especially in the absence of feedback from others.

Well, in terms of correctness, a quick search indicates they are indeed all visually distinct forms from their base forms (which, in Nexus' and Cosmos' case, are also tagged due to being named unlike other base forms). Necessity is another question entirely relative to the above maximalist discussion, as well as the fact that fans would be searching for these forms in specific, though they don't necessarily have much representation on Danbooru. It would be like asking if the individual form tags for Heisei-and-onward Kamen Riders are necessary (which are also currently unstandardized, see Kuuga (Mighty) and Kamen Rider Kuuga (Ultimate Form)).

For those only reading this thread, the BUR was posted in topic #30103.
