I'd do it but seems like it would require previous knowledge of the characters to spot, at the top of my head I can only really think of brock from pokemon.

I took a look and couldn't find any cases where the tag was missing. None of the characters appeared to be ones known for usually having their eyes closed, just seems like a case of tag padding.

There's Gin from Bleach and Fat Buu from DBZ for other well-known ones.

We could deprecate without nuking. There aren't many posts and each can be either moved to unusually_open_eyes or have open_eyes removed by someone who knows the character or looks them up. I've removed open_eyes from a couple posts.

A good chunk (>2/3) of the current open_eyes posts/tags are from @ShellSide -- summoning them here to check whether the tag was intended to be used as unusually_open_eyes, otherwise they can all be removed.
