mass update the_weaker_sex_1_(gibson) -> -the_weaker_sex_1_(gibson) which_girl?_(meme)
Changing these posts from a copyright tag to a general meme tag with what I think is a more approriate name for it.
This meme originates from this particular page from this 1910 yearbook. From what I've gathered, it has nothing to do with the drawing by Charles Dana Gibson titled "The Weaker Sex". Although I'm assuming maybe the art was meant to be a parody of C.D. Gibson's style? But that's beside the point.
Edit: Rejected. See forum #268905.

The yearbook page you linked had "With Apologies to C.D. Gibson" written on it, so I'm quite sure it was not drawn by him.
That being said, I support this BUR. Besides, I hate this meme anyway.

The image you're linking to is actually the second in his "The Weaker Sex" series of images, of which there are many. Searching "gibson the weaker sex" in Google will reveal that there are actually quite a lot. As VR-Man said, the yearbook page you linked was drawn by someone else, probably a student. I'm not sure why public galleries like the Library of Congress only have The Weaker Sex II archived, but it is most certainly not the only one.
I initially made it a copytag since it's an art parody of an older piece (fine art? who knows), but I'm not opposed to having it be a meme tag.

from this tweet it compares and talks about how the yearbook image is pretty much a copy of the original image, which Gibson titled 'The Weaker Sex - I'. And that is what the apology is for. Disagree on the rename.

Ah, okay, looks like I was wrong. After digging through archive.org some more, I finally found the original art in question. This does explain the apology; I assumed the apology was for imitating Gibson's style at first, but you're right, the apology is because the art from the yearbook is just straight-up a copy of the original.
Now I see why @Hankpropaniac57 made it a copyright tag originally, sorry about that. I'll try to expand the wiki with all these new informations at the very least.

rename yada_yada -> yada_yada_(meme)
Looks like a meme.
Also I'm assuming this applies strictly to posts referencing the 2ch meme, in which case the wiki needs some clarification as yada yada is a common gag phrase and I'm pretty sure is present in a couple other memes.

rename humiliation_for_two_male_high_school_students_as_they_are_forced_to_hold_hands_as_a_punishment_for_fighting_(meme) -> hand_holding_punishment_(meme)
Who the hell created the tag with such an absurdly long name?

create alias beta_male_date_(meme) -> wear_that_tight_red_dress_(meme)
I wrote a booruwiki entry for wear_that_tight_red_dress_(meme)

rename mlg -> montage_parody_(meme)
The acronym for Major League Gaming is being used as a tag for the montage memes that used to be all the rage around 2014, which doesn't particularly make sense since we had posts that actually reference the organization such as post #2524507. Renaming since it wouldn't make sense to alias the acronym for the organization to the meme, meme title sourced from KnowYourMeme

I'm really not a fan of removing the mlg part form the name alltogether, since that is still the origin of the concept (the KYM page recognizes this too). Maybe something along the lines of mlg_montage_parody_(meme)?
Yes, and some of the existing posts make sense in neither. HWZ also just made major league gaming and did the gardening, so mlg can be renamed now.
I think those are just an amalgamation of other memes. I'd separate them into thug_life, deal with it (meme), rainbow_background, doritos, mtn_dew, blunt, stock_photo, etc
I'm not even sure how the nepgear posts are mlg other than the top nep hat. Could probably just slap top_kek_(phrase) on that and the D.va post

create alias ginyu_force_pose -> ginyu_force_pose_(meme)
Even the very wiki reference page links to our meme tag group page. So unless there is something I'm missing here, I see no reason to treat this an anything different compared to the dozens other meme pose tags we got.
