Alias bulletproof_vest

For some reason, I used to assume that bulletproof vest refers to soft body armor ones like post #7121117 which appears to be more flexible. However, Wikipedia even refer plate carrier as the exact same thing with bulletproof vest, albeit different style and appearance. The technical difference is the degree of protection and insertion.

Some users refer modern US/NATO-styled plate carriers like these (post #7173348 and post #7169245) as bulletproof vest. Again, this is correct thing to do.

Bonus: Even the soft-looking Soviet-era body armor is still technically a plate carrier just like its more recent Western counterpart. post #6517512 shows something resembling the 6B5 vest, that accepts hard titanium inserts

I was going to propose aliasing both tags into ballistic_vest instead, for consistency with ballistic shield.
Should it also imply body armor as well?

Alternative BURs are welcome. For those who are downvoting, once again, the point of aliasing both is the same gear that serve same purpose albeit different designs.

Well, from a cursory search these two tags are perfectly identical. There's also roughly a hundred posts having both tags and I can't tell which tag is wrong in any of those posts.
