Am not a Approver but if best version of a artwork is already uploaded duplicates or sketches are very unlikely to get approved.

post #7070491 wasn't approved. You got 1upped, maybe manually, maybe by a bot. The parent post was available on Pixiv since January 2023 like the child from Twitter. A way to reduce the chances of that happening again in the future is checking if there's a better version of an image available somewhere else with reverse search engines, like saucenao.

Appealing doesn't guarantee shit anything unless different approvers happen to look at it. Since them liking the image is a prerequisite there's just no real way of knowing if it'll go through or not. And you can only appeal once per post even when other users try to for some reason (even if those other users have no chance of being a sock account).

Yeah not true I just appealed that one since I don't think it's bad. There is a period of time (few days) you cant flag something after another person has flagged it, but I dont think that applies to appeals.

Really? It doesn't work when I try to appeal other person's uploads after someone else has, or is that cus I'm not a purple user?

I'm not an approver but my guesses for the second one are 1) the left horn looks like it's almost detached from her face with how it has a black border and 2) her left hand section w/ her hair is kind of messy.
personally I think the image overall is fine (and cool) enough so that's unfortunate

Been kinda hit or miss for approvals for the artist and I'm not entirely sure what is the threshold for accepting or declining.

My upload limit was empty btw. If someone had appealed before a pop-up would appear saying "posts may be only appealed once", but there's probably a circumstance I'm missing, most likely time after previous appeal but I was pretty sure that I had tried appealing long appealed posts before. Shrug
