In any case, we should alias that to the numerical costume tag eventually.

These 2 the qualifier clashes with danbooruspeak and in the case of Luna's outfit the design is more of a sailor dress rather than a sundress

For the ones that clash with Danbooruspeak, we could have their store names be utility aliases while the main tags can make more sense for a 'booru context, or viceversa depending on what people want (though Luna's 3rd costume could be "sailor sundress" if we wanted to compromise). Meanwhile, for Kanata's 3rd costume, for consistency, it should probably just be "Work", or if nothing else, "Work Costume".

Which names from the shop don't line up with the ones we have currently?

These are all the vtuber costume tags that follow the *_(*)_(vtuber) format (excluding artist vtuber personas such as pan_(mimi)_(vtuber)). Evazion said in forum #258272 that he supports this format. However, he also mentioned that the qualifier order for characters should follow the format character_(costume)_(copyright).

_(vtuber) is not a copyright qualifier. Rather, it's a disambiguation qualifier, performing the same function that _(character) does in tags such as black_rock_shooter_(character) or mega_man_(character). Disambiguation qualifiers should immediately follow the base name in a character tag, and they should be dropped when adding a costume qualifier if said addition would remove the ambiguity (black_rock_shooter_(inexhaustible) over black_rock_shooter_(character)_(inexhaustible), for example). Unfortunately, something like onigiri_(new_year) is still very ambiguous, so for these vtuber tags we have to keep the disambiguation qualifier even after adding the costume qualifier, resulting in onigiri_(vtuber)_(new_year).

I also consider the (vtuber) qualifier part of the character name rather than a copyright, but it was put at the end anyway to be more in line with qualifiers going from more specific to least descriptive, I don't care that much about the order as long as it's consistent.

For example, we use Suzumiya Haruhi (character) + kita high school uniform (general) instaed of Suzumiya Haruhi (character) + Suzumiya Haruhi (kita high school uniform) (character) and Suzumiya Haruhi (character) + kouyouen academy school uniform (general) instaed of Suzumiya Haruhi (character) + Suzumiya Haruhi (kouyouen academy school uniform) (character).
Why not Gawr Gura (character) + Gawr Gura's 1st costume (general) instaed of Gawr Gura (character) + Gawr Gura (1st costume) (character)?
General tags also can be used when there are clothes in the frame, but not the character himself.

Because a lot more people then one wear kita high school uniform, it's not specific to one character. Other people wearing that costume may not be necessarily be cosplaying Haruhi, it's more general then that. Vtuber costumes that aren't specific to one person like hololive idol uniform are general tags. Also, we tag the character even when it's just the clothes in frame like in post #5962072 so it isn't adding an extra tag that wouldn't be there anyway.
