The Vtuber Alternate Costume Tagging Proposal

The bulk update request #20917 (forum #258654) has been approved by @evazion.

rename roboco_san_(hoodie) -> roboco-san_(hoodie)

I just noticed that Roboco's hoodie tag was missing the hyphen, resulting in "Roboco san" instead of "Roboco-san". What a fumble on my part.

I've been meaning to make tags for the VSPO Summer Comicket 2023 outfits for a while, from post #6604272.
This because, at least some of them are very distinct from random fan alt swimsuits, and the members have a lot of images in those specific outfits.
Ichinose Uruha would be the best example, having 27 images in that specific two-tone, center opened bikini, more than most of her other official alts.

I can't settle on a naming convention though.
Would just ichinose_uruha_(summer_2023) be distinct enough?
Or more encompassing ichinose_uruha_(vspo_summer_comi_2023), like the original hashtag work better?

Well, these don't seem to have been turned into models yet, and not enough time had passed to indicate they likely won't ever become models (ala Noel and Matsuri's off-year swimsuit costumes), so going with a simple (summer_2023) might not be the most appropriate. Meanwhile, using the full hashtag would be unnecessarily long. Specifying these appeared first at Comiket might be the play though, so combining the two into something like (summer_c102) might work best for the time being.

I have, I even used the Vtuber wiki just-in-case (and looked her twitter), but if I didn't, then I guess someone can fix it up for me,

Actually, I just to thinking about something, since we wanna rename the official outfits from hololive, should we also rename the Idol Uniforms as well? Like rename them
after the concerts/festivals they came from?

Why is it that you labeled her Halloween costume as her 2nd and her Summer outfit as her 4th? The latter dropped for her first year anniversary August 2022, while the latter dropped for Halloween 2022. That would make her Summer outfit her 2nd and her Halloween costume her 3rd, while her untagged December 2022 costume would be the 4th. If you checked her Twitter as you had said you did, you would've known this.

Twitter Search always seems to die on me as if it were rate-limited whenever I'm searching old posts, but I did manage to find this in the end.

Yeah, I never thought they'd actually make these into 3D models, too much expensive work for a one time(?) event. Plus, some are completely off model, like Nose's.
summer_c102, seems good enough, indicates that it's a summer outfit, and where & when it appeared.

I've tried to check her oldest tweets, but like you I would always run out of the rate-limit whenever I do so I only got a chance to
see the current summer/fishing trip outfit and some of her food pics

Yeah, that rate-limit is an immense pain. But if I were in your shoes, I would've waited on tagging them until I could properly confirm that they were in this order. This isn't just about properly tagging the costumes, but making sure we're not spreading false info. Imagine if no one had double-checked what you tagged, and now suddenly, everyone is referring to the costumes in the wrong order, from Gelbooru to Reddit to Twitter. Just as we need to be careful with what descriptives we use for qualifiers, we have to be careful that the nth_costume order is correct.

It's why I had to parse through a bunch of tweets back when you made the VShojo costume tags to make sure you made them correctly. Vei's 4th costume sticks out in my memory in particular in how much of a pain in the ass it was to figure out what was up, as well as post #4154192.

Alright, but btw what about my suggestion of renaming the hololive uniforms? Cause I've realized we now have the Dance Practice uniform and
those names are getting kinda long (I'm still surprise we don't have the Sports Fes outfits, even tho they're just different colored burumas)

I don't know about renaming hololive idol uniform, because based on the wiki, it says that it "has since become the standard outfit for the group's idol activities." I can't confirm or deny that because I don't watch enough hololive to know whether this is the case, but if it is, then it'd be confusing to have their main idol costume named after the first live show it appeared at. I could see it being a valid suggestion for something like, the gen-exclusive anniversary costumes, assuming they ever do further anniversary events where they all have a shared costume though.

So should we rename EN's Idol Uniforms to something like "HoloMyths Anniversary outfit"
(since it's only ever used by Myth) to match 3rd Gens idol uniform?

That's what I wanted to name it, but it was left as that as a compromise that had to be made on discord, now that both Myth and Coucnil their version of the hololive idol uniform (bright) uniform maybe we could put it to rest and have the name it should have had all along.
