I'd like to know why post #6822189 and post #6840003 weren't approved. The parent and siblings were approved for the former, while the latter I can't see any reason for why it wasn't approved.

Would you like to check post #6851088 please?

Your post is still in pending approval, wait for delete first.

Approvers are normal people that browse danbooru in their free time. Some don't have the time to check the modqueue everyday, which is why we have over 70 approvers to check it. This is the reason why some images are only approved after they were deleted. Sometimes images are approved when posted here, because they were overlooked before.

You can't compare NSFW and SFW images. I would approve the sfw version but I dislike the NSFW image. These are simply different images.
If a parent image is deleted, while the SAME child is active, you can either appeal the parent post or flag the child image, like on post #3262429.Take into account that you're uploading a lot of loli and pee uploads. While loli is probably not that hard to get through the queue, pee is on a way other level. Approvers are told to approve anything they would upload themselves and some probably have pee on their blacklist and don't even notice it. Some approvers probably even dislike NSFW uploads and will probably ignore them. You will have a harder time with getting pee images approved. While these images are probably uploadable, sometimes they aren't approvable, which is why Contributers can upload them without a problem.
This seems unfair, but there is probably no better way to deal with this problem. Contributers also have it easier to upload comics, simply because some approvers probably don't want to check a 20 upload comic and see if everything is alright about it.
There is no way, that the contributer privelege will be changed in the future. You would need to send them to the queue to make it "fair" and this will probably just worsen the problem.> https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=pool%3A20999
Don't ask for pending images here. They're in the queue and can still be approved.Asking for several artists/uploads here is a good way to get ignored. No one is going to check all of it.
I appreciate your detailed reply, but I will still use my right to be salty in response.
you can either appeal the parent post
And what if the image doesn't make it through the queue the second time, even if it at least could be approved by the same approver as the earlier version? (See 6444571, 6771515, 3262429, not certain if 6814582 - not approved, posted by contributor - will make it either).
Also, don't forget that appeals are very expensive for non-contributor uploaders, yet even then I would be willing to stake again even more of my slots for even longer period on some of my rejected appeals - because I strongly disagree with them being deleted, and I'm certain that for each of them there eventually will be at least one approver to like it enough.
or flag the child image, like on post #3262429.
Why would I do that to a post I liked enough to find and post a better version?
It wasn't even me who posted the better version in that case, I just unsuccessfully appealed it once before.
And how "parent deleted" is even still considered a valid flag reason?
That only reiterates the "contributors can make unapprovable posts" issue.
This seems unfair, but there is probably no better way to deal with this problem
I believe that simply letting me search through status:deleted for manual deletions count and/or by uploader/appealer level will be really helpful.
To me, almost any post uploaded or appealed by Builder+ (excluding memes and admins having fun by sending Hitler's paintings into the queue) is worth looking at, even if it doesn't align with approvers' higher standards.
Somehow making appeals from contributors more significant/worthy/noticeable would be nice as well.
Don't ask for pending images here. They're in the queue and can still be approved.
As of now, there are no pending, one approved, and few deleted (one of which is a parent of active) posts in that pool.
(I forgot to include status:any in the query at first because not everyone has "Show deleted posts" enabled)
Sometimes images are approved when posted here, because they were overlooked before.
...
Asking for several artists/uploads here is a good way to get ignored. No one is going to check all of it.
Well, may I at least ask for one per each?

Thanks for approving/appealing! :)

I'd say main issue is that the proportions are a bit too extreme, which in turn also results in her lower body looking disjointed from her upper body, particularly when in combination with that pose.
What was wrong with this post https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6825503 ? I personally thought it was fine, but I think maybe the thumbnail was off putting?

It's strange that this isn't approved
No luck the second time either
I want to ask if there is any rule when parents already exists, child posts will not be approved?
These two posts both have partent, come from another source(twitter vs the pixiv parent, one of them has the exact same resolution though), but they are not approved.

They are parent this way because the parent has a higher overall quality (PNG vs JPG or simply a larger JPG filesize). In general, if a higher-quality version already exists it's unlikely to get approved.
post #6794912 looks to be uploaded 2 minutes after it's higher quality parent, but the margin is so thin that it's fair to assume you were both tagging it at the same time (especially given the application of pool #1823 on the parent).
post #6811276 however was uploaded almost an hour earlier, but probably skipped over because of the presence of a higher-res parent, even though that came later (personally when I upload a higher-resolution version of a pending post, I make sure to ask an approver to approve the pending post to prevent this).

Thanks for the explanation, I read the parenting rules before about parent should have higher quality such as better format and higher resolution etc., I usually glance through twitter instead of Pixiv which in general gives lower res images if there is a version on Pixiv.
And yes that pool, though I didn't upload too many posts yet but there are definitely some times when I finished all the tags and hit submit it becames duplicate of post #xxxx lol

Probably wouldn't have helped in the cases above, but I recommend using reverse image search tools like SauceNAO if you don't use them already, they're useful to find potentially better sources and help reduce the chances of getting 1upped or accidentally posting a duplicate. The userscripts NTISAS and PISAS can also show whether or not an image on Twitter or Pixiv are already posted here.

Yeah I actually always use SauceNAO first to see if anything can be found, sometime even a post already exist here SauceNAO might not update the index yet(especially recent uploads within a few hours) so it still shows nothing, but when upload it a red duplicate badge will show up, not sure if that's only for exact match or not. My current approach is to take a look at the artist and see if the post exists or not before I submit any post. The builtin reverse image search is also quite helpful.
What's wrong with post #6836153 ? It's an animation of an already approved image that did about as well in the eyes of the general community (judging by upvotes/favs) so I'm not sure why it should go unapproved.

Do note score and favcount have very little relation to actual quality and are not taken into account for approval. Usually these 2 statistics are just a measure of how NSFW something is.

I am indeed painfully aware of the unfortunate reality, I just figured it might be a little more valid to compare in this case as they're almost the same image and both sfw.
I'm asking for the post #6840103 It's a Tamio's art of great quality. I united fragmented parts from different bgs sites, scattered images and later from the capcom Twitter page to complete the art. I later post it on twiter that day, why has it been deleted?
