Can't do BUR for "(primarch name) -> primarch" because primarch is a general tag. (Primarch is a set in stone group)

Thank you. I'm essentially attempting to grind it for the account benefits (which gives me a strange case of imposter syndrome because I've never even had a BUR approved and feel like a noob). I see builder is lower but the definition seems much more subjective than the "roughly 750 approved posts with less than 5 percent deletion"? Like blank_user above's immense forum contribution.

I was initially planning on just making this a collection of images and such I like. Which would be hard when trying to find and tag 750 that are also appropriate for this website. I saw barapedia was the secondary account of someone and got the account level transferred as a result. From what I can tell what gets approved the fastest is...... half naked anime girls. which I have little personal interest in.

So can I make a second account and fill it with half naked anime girls and other content that is of little personal interest to me but suits danbooru until it reaches contributor or builder and have that level transferred to this "main" account here, or was that a special case with barapedia?

If your aim is to be a contributor, what you upload is what you will be judged on. If you get unresctricted, and proceed to upload completely different content, you bet it will raise some eyebrows with the mod/admin team.

Upload what you want and learn what constitutes as good enough quality. Many have made it to contributor, sticking to what they love.

Not to move the thread off-topic again, but since you're using my stats as an example, I should mention that most of my forum contribution was from after being promoted to Builder. A few months ago, I posted what my stats were upon promotion here.

Builders don't have any special privileges over Members when it comes to uploading, so it's less about our uploads specifically and more about our general contribution to the site. And there are many possible ways to contribute.

It's also important to keep in mind that the quality of your contributions also count, not just the quantity. Making a large amount of tagging mistakes or uploading poor quality art and not showing improvement will only hurt your chances at promotion.

I think primarch should be made into a tag for a group of characters or nuked for being canon tagging. Doesn't look like it's a race with distinct visual characteristics.

They are, massive size and the aforementioned characters. As mentioned earlier the fandom has strong opinions either way so it's relevant to be able to filter them out or in. Hence hoping for character tag.

Oh yeah, I meant the "less than 5% deletion rate" as well.

How is your browsing, do you get the option to toggle the view/tagging/etc mode?

Primarch doesn't need to be a character tag to do that. The main reason you're even so set on this tag being a character tag is so you won't have to add it manually, right?

When you mentioned the wiki before, were you referring to help:users? Because it's very clear what levels get what perks. Note the "and above" stated repeatedly at every user level.

I just wanted to be sure as it was mentioned in the list but not the chart so I was a bit confused.

Not what I get from many of the posts, giant and its related tags could suffice for posts where the characters' size is significantly larger than their surroundings. We tag posts based on the image itself, we usually don't use tags because of external factors, especially character tags for a group of named characters.

If that's all you want there's a way for member level users to tag posts in bulk, but I fear mentioning it because of misuse.

That's perfectly fair, if it's something to request could you direct me to a mod to dm or something?

But he did say he wants to upload with that account which might go pass the upload limit.

Either danbooru is overwhelmingly a sausage fest or this is an example of society treating male as 'default"/the normal. Or both.

Probably both.

Nobody knows you personally, no attacks are being made on your choices of identity. This is the greater internet, not Twitter, words like "dude" or "bro" don't assign gender, and a "he" in passing is not a slight against your pronouns. There's no need to be sensitive about it.

It came out harsher than intended. It was a joke about the internet assuming everyone is male as default. Dude or bro are gender neutral "he" isn't.
