The Vtuber Alternate Costume Tagging Proposal

Really, there's only one discussion to be had with these - (new_year), (new_years) or (new_year's)? I'm personally leaning towards the first option, mainly because it'd be quicker to add a year to it and wouldn't cause muscle memory issues in such a scenario, as I could entirely imagine (without aliases) someone mistyping new_years_2023 when attempting to tag new_year_2023 or whatever. But if everyone wants to go with the other options, I'll change the BUR to accommodate. I will note though that only one tag uses (new_years) as a (part of a) qualifier, all other New Year's qualifiers use either the 1st or 3rd option.

(new_year) feels wrong to me somehow, but it seems to match what we've done with Blue Archive and Fire Emblem characters, as well as the New Year tag, so okay.

With that BUR done, we're now basically left with the potentially more contentious stuff. The casuals (inc. school uniforms and loungewear), the dresses (inc. ethnic and business), the cosplay, and the miscellaneous, before we deal with the defaults. Of these, probably the simplest to start with first would be the school uniforms, and the cosplay.

With the former, we've got two options - (school_uniform) or just (school) (the clunky (schoolwear) too). The former option has precedent with Tales characters, ala (new_year) with BA and FE, but I find myself going against that because of the Aogami High School Uniform that debuted with hololive Error. Going with the latter option would preserve the fact that this is supposed to be schoolwear, but that it isn't a standardized uniform across everyone that has a school uniform costume - it also technically has precedent too, but that's literally in the context of fish schooling.

With the latter meanwhile, even if it isn't a proper modeled costume, Houshou Marine (Nun) does give the qualifying precedent of just tagging the cosplay with what they're cosplaying as, so like Murasaki Shion (Magical Girl Maid) or Yuzuki Choco (Nurse).

The BA character qualifiers are just literally what they're called in game, not something we decided on, so I don't think they should be considered as setting any sort of precedent.

rename mashiro_(nijisanji)_(1st_costume) -> mashiro_(1st_costume)_(nijisanji)
rename mashiro_(nijisanji)_(2nd_costume) -> mashiro_(2nd_costume)_(nijisanji)

I'm surprised no one noticed back in Rodent's BUR that the qualifiers were in the wrong order. It should be *_(costume)_(copyright/disambiguator), no? Of course, this begs the question of why all the *_(disambiguator)_(costume) implication BURs were approved.

IMO the disambiguator should go first. It's more like part of the name. I see it like name_(costume) where name = *_(copyright/disambiguator). We wouldn't do mashiro_(cosplay)_(nijisanji), would we?

Using mashiro_(1st_costume)_(nijisanji) would make mashiro_(1st_costume)_(something_else) look related, which it wouldn't be.

The stronger categorizer should go first, in other words.

The rule is that qualifiers go in the order of character_(costume)_(copyright)_(cosplay). This is roughly in order from most specific to least specific.

Next on the chopping block are the cosplay and miscellaneous costumes. May as well lump them together.

For most of these, they are just qualified with what they're dressed up as, with the exception of Anya's Steampunk outfit, which goes with theme instead. I had considered for a moment going with (spacesuit) for Amelia's latest costume, but ultimately went with astronaut, to keep in the format. The two non-cosplay ones are Roboco's t-shirt, and Marine's 5th costume, which I had erroneously listed under miscellaneous because no one checked the List™ and corrected my goofy ass.

Mexi had previously suggested it just be (t-shirt), but I think the fact it says 'high-spec' on it is a key part of it, so I decided to include it. If it and Shion's qualifiers are too long for y'all, I'll change them to (t-shirt) and (maid) respectively. Marine's costume meanwhile is an awkward one - it's a 3D-only costume, from a birthday live that doesn't have an actual name, and the costume itself didn't receive a proper name either, being merely referred to as "Captain Marine 3D Misoji Edition"... misoji being romaji for 'thirty years old'. If anyone has any suggestions for it, please don't hesitate and pitch it.
