GamingRodent, I'm going to say this in the bluntest way possible - could you please slow down with the implication BURs? We won't be able to get any discussion done on the the issue of finally renaming the qualifiers for, at bare minimum, the Hololive VTubers to descriptive qualifiers, if you keep flooding the thread with implication BURs. The tags aren't going anywhere, and if someone forgets to add the base chartag because they added the costume tag only, eventual implication BURs will rectify that.
Of course, I have no authority in stopping you from making the BURs, but even you should recognize how, two weeks in, we still aren't fulfilling the head admin's request for us to finally get on with it.

Since it is taking too long for the swimsuit BUR to be approved, I'm going to submit the next one. And it shockingly is not the New Year's costumes. I'm instead opting to first tackle the 3D-onlies... sans Mel's default 3D costume (as that'd be influenced by whatever we do for the defaults). Because, with the exception of Korone's costume (and technically Calli's 8th costume), every single one of these was (to my knowledge) introduced with 3D concerts. Minato Aqua's tags set a precedent for using the concert names for these costumes, so that's what I went with here when possible.
The only exceptions are Korone, Pekora and Calli's 8th costume, because the first two debuted as part of birthday lives that don't seem to have proper names (as was the case with Matsuri, Subaru, Kanata, etc.), but the former's was based on a song costume, and the latter seemed to have the name 'Pekoland Princess' attached to it, so that works instead, while Calli debuted hers as part of an EP, including having the design on the EP cover be turned into a model. So all the names here should be fine per the precedent set.
Additional utility aliases could be added if needed, like for those that debuted with birthday lives.
For the swimsuits I think it's confusing to use the Azur Lane skin names for some swimsuits and "Hololive Summer 2019" for the others. Especially when most of the posts under the Azur Lane swimsuits aren't actually tagged with Azur Lane.
I also think just *_(summer_2019) would be shorter and would fit better in case we need other things like *_(new_years_2020) or *_(birthday_2020) or *_(casual_2020).

Part of the reason why going with the full titleless event name for the 2019 swimsuits is preferred is to a) keep consistency with the 2022/23 swimsuit gentags we have; and b) to be able to distinguish them from any individual swimsuits the girls might receive that's unrelated to the Hololive Summer events. It's why the two non-model swimsuit tags I resurrected for Noel and Matsuri drop the hololive in the name to just be (summer_2020), to indicate they had not been turned into proper costumes for the two at the swimsuit events, and could potentially be replaced were they to ever receive proper individual swimsuits/summerwear (also Matsuri's artist has seemingly made a design for her for each year since 2019, post #6585096, and making it all just (summer_*) could inspire some knucklehead to make a 2-post tag for the 2021, 2022 and 2023, when those designs don't seem to have caught on and would potentially cause confusion with the standardized swimsuit designs in 2022/23 - so some distinction in naming feels worthwhile).
Meanwhile, I was actually planning on suggesting a (summerwear) qualifier for use on the individual swimsuits that Marine and Koyori got - going with something like (summer_2023) for Koyori would inevitably cause confusion with the fact that she has worn the Hololive Summer 2023 swimsuit, potentially leading to mistags (assuming we don't go with just (summer) qualifier for these, but that'd still require the distinction between summer event and individual summerwear).
On the Azur Lane skin names though, I am not against flipping the alias and having the event name be the primary qualifier.

If I can make a suggestion, maybe for the 2023 swimsuits we should rename it to "Splash Party" instead
of just using the years, as I believe that swimsuit is the only one with a specific event attached to it while other are just for regular summer.

With the swimsuit BUR in limbo for now, and with the 3D-onlies having gone through as the first to abandon the nth format instead, I may as well make this BUR - the New Year costume BUR!
Really, there's only one discussion to be had with these - (new_year), (new_years) or (new_year's)? I'm personally leaning towards the first option, mainly because it'd be quicker to add a year to it and wouldn't cause muscle memory issues in such a scenario, as I could entirely imagine (without aliases) someone mistyping new_years_2023 when attempting to tag new_year_2023 or whatever. But if everyone wants to go with the other options, I'll change the BUR to accommodate. I will note though that only one tag uses (new_years) as a (part of a) qualifier, all other New Year's qualifiers use either the 1st or 3rd option.
