Wow. I had a blast looking at reactions while browsing, it was a great event.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible, I enjoyed this event.

They were great, but some didn't like them obviously. Maybe toggle to disable them?
Something like (***) before the react button? It was funny to see how others reacted to posts, where there usually were no comments.
Maybe that could be a way to increase user interaction without having to post a comment?

Now that it’s no longer possible to leave reactions, I’d like to thank most of the userbase for April Fooling responsibly. Pretty much all the fooling around, such as nonsene BURs, seems to have been contained to obvious April Fools’ topics, while “serious” topics like “How do I tag this?” didn’t even receive a single reaction.

Special mention goes out to the few users, who, despite Danbooru’s reputation of having rude users and no fun being allowed, went out of their way to leave heart reactions on several user profiles. ♥️

I look forward to next years event, maybe they'll bring back reactions along with some other cool stuff

It does give you a neat little insight on people. And how we tend to have a worse outlook of how things really are. Thanks to the hard work to put this little event together we were able to see what a lovely, funny and passionate this community is.

Coulda used more eggs.

How the fuck do I hide reactions? I reacted with a skull to some bestiality shit and now I have to see it every time I open my profile.

It'll be taken off soon. Probably a few more days or something

A commit was added a few hours ago to remove them. It's already live on the beta site, so whenever the main site gets updated again they'll be gone here too.
