Why not making an alias instead? I'd rather alias ak86812023 into the more intelligible name akusamu instead.

She's a voice actress and artist. I thought someone mixed the urls at first, but they're the same person. Read the descriptions if you can:

Name is unique enough. The numbers from the Twitter handle aren't needed.

it feels like an arbitrary decision to chop off the numbers when that's their username, and they don't have multiple sites with different variations on the name

You're right. The artist, as a seiyuu even is listed on MAL. I'd support aliasing both into hatanaka_marie. Using artist's real name would be fine if he/she is famously known like Kazuharu Kina or Kishida Mel. You can go ahead change the BUR or still wait for further review from higher-ranking staff here.

I would suggest aliasing into the opposite way. Maybe it's a better idea to name an artist without parentheses qualifier.
