That's what parent child posts are for.

They follow a sequence, and are not duplicates, per se. That's iffy, though. We need to standardize this stuff, and make pools as easy as parenting.

pool #731 - I don't see the point in uploading a hard translated doujin here when this is easily downloadable in gensokyo.org.

This thread is is for reporting pointless pools, not pointless contents of pools. The contents of pool #731 are all in the mod queue, and I for one am not accepting them. But there's nothing wrong with the pool itself, which is a perfectly reasonable grouping of the posts.

I missed that one too. As far as I knew small groups of related images were always meant for parent/childing rather than pools. Obviously manga and the like are a different issue. I'd never pool a 2 or 3 pic simple sequence or near duplicate set.

In any case, if you continue to create pools like this in the future, I would suggest that "Unknown doujinshi of Haruhi Fujioka masturbating" or some such might be a better name/description than "?". I wouldn't have brought those pools up had their name and description not made them an object of curiosity.

There also needs to be a way to purge parent/child relationships quickly - pool #453 for instance is still full of them because I was in no mood to manually go through that many posts removing the parents, and unless mods have access to some feature I don't that makes this a speedy process, I doubt anyone else wants to either.

Use a tag script with "parent:none".

I actually wanted it to have a null name and thus be an anonymous pool, but it wouldn't let me, so I settled for "?". I'll keep your advice in mind in the future, I guess.

A quick search of the forum brought up forum #13376, forum #8880, forum #8090, etc. but no decision of consensus, you're right.

But I still maintain that the entire pool system on danbooru is totally fucked up, and needs to be redesigned from the bottom up. Maybe I'll make a thread complaining about it later.

Im not browsing pools by the listing, it requires too many clicking & waiting for pages to load. Its real pain. ( im just changing the pool Nr in my URL bar ). So let me ask last thing

This pool is also empty, but its not public pool. So is it really empty? I tried to open this page when logged in & when not. I still cant see anything.

If all the images in a pool are marked loli or shouta you won't be able to see them without an account with privileged or higher status.

In the pool I posted in previous post there is no loli or shota markings.

Every image in pool #2 is tagged shota, so you already linked your own example pool. (It helps if I spell the tag right I guess.)

So anyway I read that I should contribute o the site somehow to "potentially, lol", see the loli stuff. And since I have some experience with creating web crawlers that can scan the site, Ill thought ill give it a try, but if the result is empty for me, it may not be empty for someone else, and the results will fe faulty so I have up on this.
