Tag Proposal: Pokephilia

It's a pretty popular tag in other boorus. If someone want to search for post of humans and pokemon in sexual acts, they would have to search for either "interspecies pokemon_(creature)" or "bestiality pokemon_(creature)", or a mix of the two "~interspecies ~bestiality pokemon_(creature)". Different searches with multiple tags for a single and simple concept that could be a tag alone. Interspecies work for humanoids, while bestiality for animal-like, but some Pokemons are kinda in a thin line between the two so it can be hard to define sometimes. That's why a tag like pokephilia could be very useful.

If more users agree, I would create this BUR:
mass update interspecies pokemon_(creature) -> interspecies pokemon_(creature) pokephilia
mass update bestiality pokemon_(creature) -> bestiality pokemon_(creature) pokephilia
imply pokephilia -> pokemon_(creature)

Thoughts?

Given how many pokémon aren't animals or humanoids (haunter, ditto, grimer, magnemite, klefki, vanillish ect.), I see no reason this tag shouldn't exist.

I've been wondering why this tag wasn't a thing. +1 for me.

It's an existing and popular tag on e621, rule34, and similar sites but would need to be heavily policed due to such sites using it in place of bestiality and interspecies tags. Interspecies is already a tag that we have to garden every week to clear out the horses and people have tried to use the tag already.

It has some use for the people looking for any form of poképorn, but is fairly useless as a blacklist tag since bestiality and interspecies already cover it. 'Mon like Klefki and Grimer, though not specifically animals are still tagged bestiality. And for people who are ok with Lopunny but not Mudsdale it ends up covering too much to blacklist as bestiality already covers that.

Ultimately, it gets a :meh: from me, as I see it as a net-neutral.

I don't personally see much of a point in the tag for the same reasons Veradux outlined; as it covers such a wide range from bestiality to interspecies, we'd be creating a tag that I think few people would find use in - I'm not sure how many users are interested in seeing Gardevoir x human posts alongside Elesa getting fucked by a Zebstrika.

Additionally, how far do we want to go with this? Are we also going to make digiphilia for Digimon and so on? Pokémon shouldn't get special treatment just because it's Pokémon. If users don't want to see Pokémon x human posts then there's a good chance they also don't want to see non-Pokémon x human bestiality/interspecies either, so using it as a blacklist alternative to bestiality and interspecies isn't a good reason. No matter which way I look at it we'd just be tying a bunch of posts together because they involve Pokémon, and we recently nuked a number of tags for very similar reasons (gen_x_pokemon and a few others).

Yeah, it doesn't have much use as a blacklist tag as interpecies + bestiality would probably cover most of it, but it's useful as a tag to easily search for sexual acts between human or pokemon for the reasons I pointed. A user may have more objective results searching for "pokemon_name pokephilia" than having to alternate between interspecies and bestiality, as there are Pokemon that fit both Interspecies and Bestiality depending on how the artist portrays them, and it also gather pokemons that are hard to define as either humanoid-like or animal-like as well. It doesn't help that most users can seach two tags only, so they couldn't search for "~interspecies ~bestiality pokemon_(creature)".

Not, it's not getting 'special treatment' just for being Pokemon, but because it is relevant and popular. If you search "digimon_(creature) ~interspecies ~bestiality" you will only get 30 results. If you try for "digimon_(creature) -solo rating:e" insted, you get a 148 results, but a good number of Digimons are visually humans, Angewomon being a prime example, so this comparison doesn't work at all with the intention of this tag.

I went from upvote to meh/downvote reading the replies. I see it as adding a wide variety of posts, though they share a common setting, to a special tag.

They shouldn't be imo. No one looking for sex with animals is wanting to see a puddle of waste or a sentient keyring.

Does pool:16659 and similar images count as poképhilia?

I'd say probably not, seems like that pool is for personified versions instead of their original "beastial" forms.

Would you not tag those situations with pokemon? If not then surely they should not be tagged pokephilia either.

I'm getting the same feeling as well. I think it may be better to leave the tag like this, at least for now.
