This tag will be used for pokemon like creatures that arent official pokemons.

You mean fakemon? We have about 120 posts in that tag total, and only one isn't rated S (it's Q because a human character is bathing). I don't foresee fakemon porn being a huge issue.

There is also Digemon and Temtem is growing in popularity. Not a huge market but making an implication would still be a mistake.

You mean, the implication would be a mistake, because some users might mistake Digimon for Pokemon...?
And talking about their popularity and number of posts in danbooru, there's still a long way for Digimon to be comparable to Pokemon, and Temtem doesn't even have posts yet (despite being a two years old game).

A good reason to not make the implication would be if there's situations where pokephilia might apply but pokemon (creature) not, that would need to be discussed.

I can't think of any situation where pokephilia doesn't include a pokemon when I look at its definition, except for fakemon, but then most of them are already tagged as a pokemon even though they aren't. Even if that happened, I think there would be too few outliers.

But I don't feel like the implication is much needed.
