Deletion appeal thread

Posted under General

This topic has been locked.

A tip for all who appeal here: the shorter your post, the easier it is for us to parse and act upon, and thus the less work it creates. Just the link to the post (using the post #123456 syntax, please) is enough. Don't expound on the fact it was deleted due to the three days limit expiring. We know that, that's why you and 99% of the others are here.

Explanations are useful if they state something unusual, or your particular bafflement at the decision, or special reasons why it needs to be approved ("I know it's ugly as sin and offends your mother, but it's a part of this beautiful set", etc.) But as long as it's just business as usual, don't say it, we know it already. Thanks don't hurt if you add them, but you don't really need to. You can really post nothing else than the post number and we won't think bad of you and those who raised you. Quite the opposite.

Three-day limit reached.

Due to the overabundance of appeals because of the three-day limit, may I recommend either increasing the time limit (one week seems good) and/or recruiting more people (with a Contributor account) to screen submissions.

You don't seem to understand something, the reason that the images are deleted is NOT because it went unseen, it is because none of the 30+ people who saw it thought it was good enough to accept. Some suggested reading about:mod queue

As for your image, its bad, not the worst I've seen, but bad none the less.

It's not horrible technically, but being futa falls automatically into "things I'll never approve" bin.

That's by design. If we didn't want to reject pics, we'd have no mod queue to begin with. As Suiseiseki mentioned, about:mod queue read you should.

For good reason, to be honest.

Due to the overabundance of appeals because of the three-day limit

Compared to the number of posts that go through the queue, it's not an overabundance at all. I know that you're only seeing the appeals and not the full queue, but trust me, it's huge.

Neither of these are problems. Images that hit the limit and deserve to be approved are still a very small percentage. The deletions are, as Hazuki noted, by design. The systems is this way because it works largely as intended.

the images under the kasutaso tag should be appealed I doubt they were grotesque (unimaginnably large breasts)

Come back when you see a real person with tits anywhere near that big. Also, ever heard of spelling?

Oblivion is *way* off-topic. Don't even bother. Appealing three nearly-identical and boring CGs won't get you very far either. We have a strong sentiment against game CGs, and uploading a whole set of hardly different dumps is the best way to ensure they won't be accepted.

And I'm not sure why this was deleted.. reason was for Nude Filter, I don't see any filters..?

Thanks very much if these are appealed.

The paren't post has bikini in it. The above looks very much like a nude_filter (ie. someone took the pic and photoshopped out the clothing), due to the "uncensored" tag in the original upload and the fact it looks rather unprofessionally done. Since nude filters are banned, the post was deleted immediately.

Sorry 'bout that. I was half-asleep when I posted the appeal, and I misread/misunderstood the about:mod queue page.

Still, you're rejecting based on your own personal preference, rather than the guidelines set up by the site admin.
