The aim of artist tags is to identify artists with their own name. It's more that our own romanization doesn't matter if the artist decides that their name must be read in one way. See also forum #168056, which supersedes the wiki.
Also from the wiki itself:
Note that exceptions can and will be made in the unique case where an artist, character, or copyright name has an alternate romanization that is consistent, prevalent, and significant by its copyright owner or publisher
In this case that romanization is present in all of the artist's accounts.
