Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

What's wrong with post #3461042? I was surprised that one wasn't accepted, partly because that artist had a 176/181 approval/upload ratio, and I don't think that one's any lower quality than the rest.
Same goes for post #3461243, if anything it's better IMO (certainly more detailed) than a lot of the stuff that artist has had approved.
While I'm not as surprised, I still thought post #3461049 would clear the bar.
And why was post #3461029 the only member of its pool to be deleted?

would anyone mind giving some feedback on post #3458104? thanks in advance.

Literally the only thing I can think of is that the watermarks put people off. This feels like a huge oversight.

As the uploader of most of that pool, Tamtamdi's style is a bit sketchy at times, and I am fairly certain that over half of them wouldn't have made it through the traditional queue. The hands on that one are particularly not attractive.

i really, really wish there was an un-watermarked version of this, but the closest i could get is a few clearly WIP and/or downsized versions on this 'making of' page, which is unfortunate. the "best" one is this, and it's shrunk to the point where you can't even really make out the background character's faces anymore, so i ended up uploading the watermarked one.

oh well. i hope the company themselves uploads the original, because clearly the artist behind it (who, for some reason, they didn't bother to disclose) was clearly proud enough to dedicate a whole page to it.

There is any special reason to not approve the post #3463025 ?

I can't think of a "special reason", but an ordinary reason it wasn't approved may be the artist's bland, simplistic style. All the characters have identical angular faces, there's no shading to speak of, their hair and wings seem really sketchy, etc. None of these are major faults on their own but they add up to make an image that isn't particularly appealing to the eyes. Comic uploads aren't usually held to the same level of scrutiny but this one isn't even much of a comic; there's neither plot nor punchline.

The more recent stuff is pretty good IMO, but it's a pity to only upload some of it. I see what you mean by the hands though, I hadn't noticed them before.

The plot comes with the commentary (殺意のかたまり) since Sariel and Gengetsu ("Now Until the Moment you die" and "Gengetsu R*pe Time" doesn't look really inoffensive), so Sendai came to warn this (Sariel and Gengetsu patterns) are outside the Spellcard rules due really trying to kill (as the commentary suggests)

Just a question. I posted it a long time before the Pixiv version was available but it was deleted. The massage says that a "better pixiv version is already available", but it was not. I see a lot of images from twitter getting uploaded before the pixiv version that are not deleted, so what is wrong with this one?

this is kinda a getting lucky if an approver see the twitter version first before the pixiv version gets uploaded. Most of the time twitter version is inferior than pixiv version due compression. If you know that the artist will upload on pixiv after he posted on twitter, it's better to just wait for the pixiv version. Unless you want to take the gamble that an approver see it first and approve it before the pixiv version arrives.
