post #3251429 (this one's a screencap; is that forbidden?)
Screencaps are generally allowed when they are a high-quality stitch of a larger panning shot (i.e. not something that would've just been placed on screen during the runtime). Pretty much all other screencaps are considered to be not a good idea. The one you posted wasn't even from an official source, just some random person's deviantart. That IS a big no-no.
As for the Zelda picture. I think it's probably just the more western aesthetic. The angle of sunlight for the shiny skin is also highly inconsistent, but that is definitely not enough to put it under the bar by its lonesome.
Sketchy lines all over the body. With a size like that you would expect the internal lines to be as finalized as the outside of the body. Honestly I'd personally approve this, but I can definitely see why it was passed over.
post #3245091 There's no anatomical abnomalities, no horrific censoring method, it's $200 worth of comminion to someone. So what's wrong with it that's not wrong with the 9 pages of yuri tentacles? Or the other two speh tentacles ff14?

For me it was the left girl's lower body looking like a corkscrew, and the breasts looking like water balloons. Also consider the other tentacle post by the same artist, post #3185168, which also ended up being deleted.
post #3254628 and its children were rejected, yet you get BadCompZero's stuff all over the place. What's wrong with these?
The angle the hips come out from the body is completely wrong. Of course, it's possible that the clothing doesn't follow her hips but there's nothing whatsoever to actually indicate that. BadCompZero's art often has wide hips, sometimes unnaturally so, but a quick scan of the artist's approved images shows that the shape at least is usually reasonable, even if the proportions aren't, and they're never as bad as this one. Said hips should also be higher up on the body.
Also, I asked this one before, but it was never answered. post #3238737

Half the spread legs posts look like "corkscrews" (the armed corckscrew being quite an elegantly simple piece of engeneering). Many of the tentacles breast_grab look like waterballons. post #3185168 has other issues. Roegadyn body type is not the artist's fortay.
Sometimes it's not wrong with you or the content you work with, and maybe it's just time to contribute somewhere where they are glad with your help with free content.
I understand now that you guys don't like self uploads. But just out of curiosity, why else do you guys think this wasn't good enough? https://danbooru.donmai.us/post_appeals?search%5Bcreator_name%5D=greenspiret I guess I'm biased because I made it but I just don't see what its missing or whats wrong with it.
I uploaded these 3 images by hera(hara0742). Hera already has a ton of content on this site and I don't see these images as being lower quality than any others. post #3253926 post #3253932 post #3255932 I realize I posted the twitter sample for the first two, but that seems to have been corrected already. Could you please explain why none of these posts were accepted?
As you can see, these last four were better quality, had higher scores, and more fav's. And yet...why were the slightly *inferior* ones approved over the *superior* ones? Does it have anything to do with them being patreon rewards? Did the artist request them specifically be removed?
If that's the case, then no complaints or questions from me! I like to think this is a board that respects wishes of all artists. But if not, it's just....weird lol. Like I genuinely don't get it.
So I'm new, which means my uploads aren't getting *repeatedly* deleted, but I do still have a question as to *why.* It's kind of a weird situation. […] As you can see, these last four were better quality, had higher scores, and more fav's. And yet...why were the slightly *inferior* ones approved over the *superior* ones?
I don’t really get why you consider some of those “better quality”. They’re all mediocre and meh. Some may be meh+1, some meh-1, but they’re still meh.
You might notice that the approved posts were all approved by the same user. I guess they had something that appealed to him. I wouldn’t have approved any of those.
The artist you’ve been uploading from also seems to have some kind of asphyxiation fetish. So unless an approver has interest or at least tolerates that, such images probably won’t be approved. Maybe you should just stay away from that artist, since the art isn’t good anyway.
The “higher scores and more favs” you mention mean next to nothing for approval. Those are measures of popularity, not quality. Sure, high quality posts are popular, but badly drawn fanservice is also popular for some reason. Sex Sells, so no matter how crap it is, if it’s got nudity, it’s guaranteed to have someone favorite it (like post #451456). Btw, low single digits for score and favorites aren’t even a sign of popularity. Low single digits on nudity are even a sign of unpopularity. For reference, the 90th percentile score for breasts is 28. The 90th percentile score for nude is 35.
Does it have anything to do with them being patreon rewards?
Some approvers stay away from paid rewards, but not all.
Did the artist request them specifically be removed?
If an artist requested their art to be removed, the banned_artist tag will be added to their posts.
