This seems like an MS-Paint-edit? Is this kind of image supposed to be deleted from danb?

No. Drawing on the mirror in the artist's original pic.

The ToS is a little confusing in this regard.
It is the section for things that are outright banned...
And I'm sure I've seen Albert specifically say that such images are not accepted for copyright reasons before, but I can't find the thread in question as there are so many discussions on similar topics. I found posts by just about every other mod stating that uploading such images is against the rules, though.
And if it isn't banned then there would be nothing stopping the site from turning into a site for hosting commercial manga. As far as I'm aware (and I did look) this series is not made freely available anywhere, and the art quality isn't even particularly high for a commercial manga series.
@albert - can you sort out this potential confusion in the ToS please?
Can the deletion system be abused? I've been noticing lately that images that I've favorited, that were perfectly fine in quality AND approved of before, are now deleted. Some of them even have Resolved listed on them, at least has "No approval after three days" on it twice... and I've noticed a few images that I hadn't favorited but knew they were approved of before suddenly listed as deleted, sometimes even with no note claiming it was due to a lack of approval.
Just kind of wondering what's going on there.

That’s not what this thread is for. Make a new thread for your topic.
That said, looking through fav:RisingDragon status:deleted, none of your favorites have been deleted recently. Most were deleted/unapproved several years ago and a bunch was deleted for being samples one year ago. The most recently deleted one seems to be post #2824170, which went unapproved 7 months ago, probably due to the western art style.
A while ago, a bug caused unapproved posts to have the “Unapproved in three days” message twice. That has no special meaning.
I see nothing out of the ordinary in your deleted posts.

It's possible, but each time an approver deletes a post manually it creates an entry in the Mod actions list. Here's the list of recent manual deletions.
There were some server issues recently that caused unapproved posts to go longer than usual before being automatically deleted, maybe that explains part of what you were seeing?

Just FYI to those that may not know, but mod actions are only available to roughly the beginning of this year. Prior to that, they were being pruned after 45 days.

Alright, just wondering. Wasn't sure where else to post the question. I could understand why some of them were deleted, but a few just didn't make sense since I knew they'd been approved of before. Sorry for the misuse.

I uploaded it, then quickly realized that an identical version (post #2798270) had already been uploaded

Uploading twitter versions when pixiv ones are already up is to be avoided if they're perfect duplicates, but we don't actively delete them once they're approved, so don't worry too much about it.
Wrong upload.

Posting it here since it should probably be double-deleted by @albert since it's a paid reward from ricegnat.
None of ricegnat’s paid rewards have been double-deleted because the issue just kind of died after Mikaeri banned and deleted the posts “for now” in topic #11399.
Updated
Was unaware image had already been uploaded as it did not show up when looking for similar because it was flipped.
post #3134151 which is just a poor edit of post #2832523

post #3150018 is just an FGO screencap, seeing as I up and forgot to post the twitter link into the batch uploads page and pull the proper art piece from there. If anyone coming across this could delete this one in particular, that would be great.
requesting to remove some of my older samples uploaded years ago for cleanup purposes. post ids are as of below:
