It appears to be for images that have been manipulated to fit standard desktop background resolutions. Probably not a useful tag, considering that it's redundant to combinations of the wallpaper and cropped/resized tags.

It's a picture that was cropped or expanded to wallpaper dimensions. Check the parents of pictures tagged as such to have a quicker understanding.

After some further investigations... It seems like while the name kimono do indeed carry the meaning of Japanese traditional cloth and thus include Yukata, the understanding among Japanese people have shifted nowadays that they become something different. And it seems like the reason why many English sites are still saying statements like "Yukata is a subset of Kimono" is because, in English Kimono is still the most common word being used to refer to traditional Japanese Clothing.
Since on danbooru, the distinction between Japanese Clothing and Kimono have already been made, I think it would be a good idea to exclude yukata from kimono tag.

That would certainly be quite involved as there are quite a few implications to change. open kimono, pink kimono, fur-trimmed kimono just to name a few.
Also unfortunately most Danbooru users cant tell the difference.
What is the tag edit for? It's a meta tag with no wiki and it was added to my upload, post #2980168, and I can't understand why.

I have no idea what it’s for, but it it’s often used with photoshop, so some users think it means “edited”?
Maybe @reese can explain the reason for adding edit to post #2980168.

The only thing I can find about the first tags is topic #5830 around 7 years ago, could use a wiki entry and maybe a cleanup if they are to stay.

I'm honestly surprised those tags were retained when averted eyes got aliased to looking away. I guess they just flew under the radar.

I was about to move all the posts in downcast eyes to looking down but I thought I'd ask about it first, only found out about upturned eyes from that topic.
Can any one come up with a wiki for moped? I dont really know what visually separates them from motorcycle.

Moped is short for motor and pedal and therefore is required to have pedals. Apparently, in some areas, scooters are also called mopeds. That’s probably the reason why even though we do have a healthy scooter tag, the moped tag is misused quite a lot. I think we should require that something tagged moped actually has pedals and everything else is a scooter.

made an initial wiki and added a few posts. really not minding the final tag name just felt better to move said posts somewhere now than later. feel free to add or modify. thanks!
Changed the hip_vent with what @iridescent_slime suggested in forum #142293.
Simply for documentation.
tagme is locked but I see a vehicle request tag being used which should probably be listed in the wiki page.
