A lot of the problems posts have is catching a jaded approvers attention. We do have a few new queue moderators so it will hopefully get better now (Although they are letting some really bad posts through. But thats an other topic)

I cant really help you with the first one. A bit bland perhaps.

There are a few poor quality sketches in the background of the second one. The way she tilts her head makes it look like shes either got an abnormally long neck or her head is not attached to it. There is also something wrong with the lighting which I cant quite explain.

1: This is one of these kinda grotesque images that are a bit of a risk to upload. Her breast is bigger than her entire torso and twisted in a way that is very unbreaslike. The tentacles looks like CG and other than the one around her breast looks like they where added later. And yes, Im sure the big ass and foreshortened lower back did turn several mods away.

2:Ho boy. Thats a very detailed and totally unrealistic anus. Compared to the rest of the image that is not nearly as detailed it gives a rather jarring impression. Also a weird elbow.

I have said it before, We have mods that wont approve overly explicit images. So even if some girl is wearing exquisite clothes and has masterfully drawn feet and hands there is no guarantee it will be approved if she has an anus that looks like it belongs on a blow up doll.

Pretty much yes. Her torso looks flattened and her right hands fingers are made of sausages. A simplistic art style can certainly get approved on Danbooru if it has great anatomy and linework but that is not the case here.

The first is a fairly uninteresting sketch, plus the arms are a bit weird, with the hand being too small-looking.

The second has a messed up perspective - the upper body is 3/4 towards the viewer but the lower body is from the side, and the breasts look like they're barely attached to the chest - not to mention the fingers are pretty weird too and the eyes are misaligned.

Would it be possible if I try to claim it is part of a series of image in the sense that it's one of those few images being uploaded by the author onto his blog?

Every image on danbooru should be able to stand on its own - often even comic images of pools go unapproved because of this, so I don't think that'll work.

I can't speak for the others but I personally found it too western for my taste, and the face has a bit of an uncanny valley feeling to it.

1st one: There is very little shading giving the image a flat appearance, her left breast looks absolutely absurd, her face is not centred in her head and a torture pick will turn many approvers away.

2nd one: This one is trickier. The shading is kinda simple and her hips are quite a bit wider than her torso. There is a bit of an allergic reaction amongst the mods against wide hips at the moment. I could point out small errors in her face and wings but ultimately I think this is yet an other example of a mediocre image getting overlooked by moderators that has seen thousands of nude girl picks like this one.

I'm not so worried about the 15 approvers who didn't like it enough to approve, but I'm curious why 1 approver believes it breaks the rules? Art of western shows is allowed isn't it?

Art of western shows is allowed if it is anime-styled, but this post’s style looks pretty western too. Western copyright + western style = it doesn’t belong here. “Breaks the rules” is one of the default rejection reasons and the one that fits best in this case if the approver didn’t take the time to write a custom reason.
