I don't quite see your point.
But please do your fact check.

As you can see it has heart censors on Pixiv. The post has been decensored, though.
And you can find this version only on Gelbooru, so it gets sourced from there.
The artist never posted the image publicly, and gelbooru is not a legitimate source.
The link also doesn't even load.
If you want to be technical the source would be the artist's patreon where the originals are but since it's paywalled that's useless. Therefore, the pixiv post is correct.

Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines of this site, namely Help:Image Source before you make baseless attacks against moderators.

You're not a moderator, and the wiki is generally not kept up to date, so you're basically spamming.
Edit: and much of the wiki isn't even written by mods, as well.
It's pretty obvious the source is patreon.

The user found it on Gelbooru, and reposted it here using that as a source. That's a perfectly acceptable action since the patreon version is not publicly accessible and the pixiv version is of inferior quality. If you have the direct link to the patreon post, change the source to that instead. But setting the pixiv url as source makes no sense as the pictures are different.
I'm not even going to reply to the rest of what you said because it's clear by now that you have no idea how this site works.

He never claimed to be a moderator so I don't know why you are saying that, and he's certainly not spamming. Just because something isn't written by a mod doesn't make it automatically false.

The point of source is to link back to the artist's page. If the source is not public then a. there is no source or b. the artist's site
Also, md5 mismatch tag is not hurting anyone. Artists reupload all the time due to pixiv demand for bigger censor bars.
If I scanned some crap and then linked back to my personal web page or something, that would not be right. That's basically what someone is doing when they link to gelbooru.
A source is not required, and gelbooru is not really a source (it's unathorized reposts).

You are welcome to think whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you are right, the reversion was the right thing to do and Gelbooru works as a source just like Yandere does.
And we don't really have time to discuss every minor change to the wikis, we would never get anything done if we did that.
The source of a post should be as close to the original artist's posting of the exact same image as possible. In this case I would probably set the source field to either text stating it as the artist's Patreon or a link to the Patreon then put in the comments that the image was taken from Gelbooru. Sort of like how scanned posts should be sourced.
Claiming the wiki should never be a source of policy because anyone can edit it is pretty ridiculous, mind. Unless you want to converge a staff tribunal every time a new user signs up with intent on editing anything to rehash the rules with them.
