How do I tag this?

The footwear. Has somewhat the appearance of tabi, but there's no telltale toe split.

Would adapted costume fit with common clothing items that are "adapted" like that in a sense? For instance, post #2956698 (gym shirt->leotard/swimsuit). I wasn't quite sure if that tag was the right one, but I couldn't think of an alternative for the idea (the gym uniform is a "normal outfit" for that character given how often the artist depicts it, so it fits the wiki definition in one sense).

Your use would seem appropriate through visual cues, though there is the meta-knowledge that this same artist was probably going for a gym shirt worn over a swimsuit, with her arms blocking out the bottom of the shirt (post #2822775).

Ah, I think you're right. Don't know why I didn't consider that. Maybe the ambiguity with her arms blocking the cutoff is intentional on the artist's part.

These "stars" scattered around on the bed sheet. I know it's the "currency" in FGO, but forget the name.

(Will update the FGO wiki to include this tag under "See also" then.)

Instead of a list of rarely used outfits we should just have tags like these in the FGO wiki. The craft essence outfits can go in the wiki page we have for Fate characters.

I really don't think outfits should be listed in a list of characters. And yes, I know other lists of characters do this, I just don't think it makes sense.

It's not a list of characters though. It's a list of every Fate-specific tag ever made, including characters. Craft essence absolutely should be there. As should FGO specific tags such as saint_quartz and riyo_(lyomsnpmp)_(style).

I'm for removing the craft essence tags from the FGO wiki because they don't help with tagging at all. It would have been very useful to Chiera if the saint quartz tag was in the wiki, but instead we drowned out the page with tags that may never see use again.
