Now I understand why my Danbooru interface sometimes broken, sometimes not. It seems if I visited Danbooru without being encrypted with "https:", the site's interface will broke down surely. However, if it's encrypted, then it's become normal all over again. WTF? How do I fix this?

@Sacriven

Check the Web Console (Ctrl + Shift + C) and the Network Monitor (Ctrl + Shift + Q) of your Firefox for errors.

My Web Console output looks like this for http://danbooru.donmai.us/forum_topics.

Can we remove the Space -> Next keyboard shortcut please?

I use that for scrolling the page, and we already have D -> Next.

Also it's kind of indiscriminate and goes to the sitemap once you're at the last page of a search of a thread.

You must have something else going on since that's not a keybinding currently used by Danbooru. I also confirmed that by testing it just now.

Do you have any other Javascripts running?

Sorry, it's definitely on my side. My browser is giving me the same behavior on other sites.

I don't run any userscripts on Vivaldi, so it might be some new shit they added maybe? [EDIT: It's definitely Vivaldi. I'm not happy right now.]

I've left my computer running for three days while I was away and this wasn't happening then so idk.

Apologies for the false alarm.

Updated

Not sure what happened on post #2773007, but the sample size was uploaded instead of the full size. I even used the bookmarklet as I usually do.

I tried the bookmarklet again from the Twitter post page, and it seems to have pulled down the correct image since it matches the :orig size of 104KB. However, when viewing the image info for the proxy image, it instead says 107KB which matches the :large size, and which also matches the current size on Danbooru and is a Tumblr Sample.

Uploads page for checking the above

Edit:

Saw this was already addressed with issue #3191. I'll just be more cautious until that get deployed.

Updated

I noticed that @realxw had rated seven obviously safe or explicit images as questionable and gave a neutral feedback as a warning. I got a reply and the user claimed to not have done that and to not even know how to change ratings. Considering that the rating changes were blatantly wrong, that seems believable.

Any ideas how to track that problem down?

He is Gold so most likely he has been activating the "Rate questionable" mode by accident on /posts and clicking stuff.

edit: started doing it myself, whoops .////.

Can confirm this is indeed what happened. As a function it is convenient for proficient users but can be a bit troublesome for new users like myself.

Hoping that it's the right place to report it, the preview of this post that I made earlier today and those of a few other recently uploaded ugoira appears to be broken.

issue #3209. There's no estimated time for resolution at this point.

However, it seems to only affect Hijiribe, so uploading ugoria's from Sonohara during this time period might be advised.

Thanks for the quick reply and for the explanation.
