Artist Commentary Sources

A lot of artists post to Twitter, but then reupload higher quality versions later to Pixiv or other such sites. However, a lot of the times, they'll bundle multiple images together into a single post, and as a result the commentary can get lost.

Should it then be allowed to take the commentary on Twitter and add it to the artist commentary, even though the source is from another place like Pixiv?

Yep, that's what I do. And then I leave the t.co short link in.

Yeah, I think it should be allowed. I already do it too, including the auto-generated link which makes it apparent where the commentary came from.

On another related note, what about images that are uploaded to several sources and has at least two different artist commentary for the same image?

Include both commentaries, like with post #2387146.

What's the best way to format them to show which commentary came from where? I find the method used by the example post kind of confusing, since the source names are the same text style as the commentaries themselves.

How about h4 for source headings, h5 for titles, and everything goes in the body.

Nicoseiga:

Could, as long as it looks consistent. I like it.

I'm OK with that. Another thing I would do to improve it is include a link in the source heading text for the source that is not included in the source field (Nicoseiga in this case).

Ah, well you could just use a textile link with the header.
