I still have a regular phone that slides into a qwerty keyboard, might be able to get a smartphone next year
I'm still using a flip phone. Probably the most high tech mobile device I have (aside from a tablet and laptop) is a satellite phone, but even that is a fairly older Motorola model, and technically registered under the company I work for.
It certainly feels surreal when I walk into a mall and see all these teenagers heads down on their screen. Brave new world and all that, with me still living in the past.
Once humanity figures out working capacitive touchscreens, I'll switch, not before. Even getting the touchpad on my laptop to not accept all "touches" from 1.5" around my fingers is a chore.
Very tempted to add truth tag on here. Didn't play them cuz I either lost the motivation to play them, didn't have time, or straight-up forgot I bought them.
It's even worse on emulation with more than 40 years of free games. Technically you don't need to buy new ones. Most games today are remakes from previous consoles or titles that could run on a PS One (if they wanted) anyway.
