Aang and Katara supporting a group that takes hostages as human shields and beheads children? No. No, I don't think so.

That's lumping Hamas and Palestinians together as a single thing, the same as those who lump Israel together with Judaism. One can be supportive of Palestinian and Jewish people without being supportive of Hamas or the country of Israel respectively.

Frankly though, no nation wouldn't have declared war had a similar attack happen to them, but Israel has really gone extreme in their response. I mean beyond anything else they've done, one has to question a country that is having their military attack UN Peacekeeper positions composed of forces representing some 50 nations.

They are a single thing. They voted for them. Israel's response is 100% the appropriate one. There is no moral equivalency between Palestine and Israel. You've lost the argument.

    Is Italian coffee especially bitter?

    Short answer: generally, yes.
    Long answer:
The bitterness of coffee is determined by several things, but mostly the degree of the roast. Italians uses mostly robusta beans and loves them to be roasted to be almost pitch-black, near the point of burning, and mostly serves those in espressos which causes the strong bitter taste.
