    Technically speaking, using the ramen broth to eat rice is normal in japan (and other asian countries).
    Usually, you can order a side of rice in ramen shop, which is precisely for this purpose. Not to mention there's also custom of using udon/rice to cook with the leftover soup after a round of sukiyaki.

    I think most fictional charactors would get severly traumatized by the funger dungeons. I also think that at least a few of the dungeon meshi charactors are too oblivious to understand the horrors they are fighting in the dungeons.
