Yamato's kai form (post #1578595), the main difference between this form and her base from is the presence of the idiom "Hirihoukenten" (非理法権天) on her single thighhigh.
It reflects one of the old philosophies in feudal Japan where foolishness (非) is not above sensibility (理), sensibility is not above law (法), law is not above authority (権), and authority is not above divinity (天).
The full idiom stands for "No Man Can Oppose the Emperor", and it was historically flown on Yamato's mainmast during Operation Ten-Go.
