tower bridge (london)
An iconic Victorian Gothic bridge crossing the River Thames in London, England. It has two tower sections connected by two sets of pedestrian walkways as well as having the bascule road deck, which can be raised to allow river traffic to pass through. It was named after the nearby Tower of London.
It played an important role in publicizing the 2012 Summer Olympics.
