the grand tour
The spiritual successor to the BBC's popular motoring show Top Gear, created by Amazon after Jeremy Clarkson was fired from the BBC for punching a producer. The structure is more or less the same as Top Gear, featuring car reviews, road trips, creation challenges, talk show segments, and celebrity guests (before season 3), albeit with a higher budget than Top Gear. The show features the same trio of hosts, referred to as the "holy trinity" by some.
However, after season 3, the show switched its format, and started doing specials only, up until season 6; with the final special, "One for the Road", marking the end of the 22 year-long partnership of the original presenters.
