• In the anime adaptation, Pikachu is the signature Pokémon of Ash Ketchum, and the only one who have consistently stayed with him. Despite having went through various battles, Ash and Pikachu notably chose not to evolve, as they considered their current form to be the most "familiar" appearance. They are voiced primarily by Ootani Ikue in the anime.
