taurus (constellation)
Taurus (the Bull) is a zodiac constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere, between Aries to the west and Gemini to the east. Its brightest star is Aldebaran, which is part of the Winter Hexagon. The constellation is also home to two star clusters, the Pleiades and the Hyades.
Taurus resembles a two-pronged fork with a bright V-shaped center (see post #8405 for reference). The prongs symbolize the horns of the bull. One of the horns is connected to another constellation, Auriga (the Charioteer).
