t-72
A family of Soviet second-generation main battle tanks of the second half of the Cold War. Entered production in 1972, it was a further development of T-64. The T-72 is weighing roughly 41 tonnes, and very small compared to most Western tanks.
With over 30,000 produced, the T-72 was widely exported to numerous countries both in and outside of the Warsaw Pact. Many are still in front line service today, in upgraded variants.
