sebring international raceway
A historic American racetrack, located in the state of Florida. The track occupies a portion of an active airport for private and recreational flights, and is notorious for it's rough and bumpy surface. As a result, it is used by many American manufacturers to stress test cars during development.
In motorsports, the track is host to the 12 Hours of Sebring, an endurance round of the IMSA SportsCar Championship that was originally part of the World Sportscar Championship, as well as a weekend of GT World Challenge America. The track also formerly hosted rounds of Formula One and the World Endurance Championship, though both series have since replaced their Sebring races with events at Circuit of the Americas.
