ra-class destroyer

Common destroyer-class enemies, first introduced in the KanColle Operation Rei-Go 1944 stage play, and introduced into Kantai Collection proper during the Spring 2025 event. They are the only "normal enemy" aside from the imps with voice lines. Based on the art, they are assumed to be Abyssal forms of United States Navy destroyers, particularly of the Allen M. Sumner-class.

Also unlike previous common enemies, the Ra-class has five separate forms: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Zeta.

The following differences separate the forms:

• Alpha has long hair, horns growing out of her hat, and a completely white necktie.
• Beta has short hair that completely covers her right eye, spikes out of her hat, and a multicolored necktie that starts at white at the knot, and changes to red/yellow down her body. She also has long fingernails growing out of her black gloves, and is seen licking her lips.
• Gamma has long hair that comes down in one braid, hair between eyes, and neither spikes nor horns growing out of her hat. She is festooned with red bows in her hair, on her dress, and even decorating her equipment, and has a joyous :D expression on her face.
• Delta has twintails hair that completely covers her left eye, spikes out of her hat, and a completely red necktie. Unlike the other Ra-classes, Delta has multicolored gloves black and red elbow gloves that extend into the sleeves of her dress, and red straps atop her shoes.
• Zeta, in complete contrast to the others, has white hair, a completely covered face, a transparent necktie, and garter straps connected to the horns out of her knees, with anchors dangling from them. Her black dress is reconfigured into a showgirl skirt, showing off the black panties on her hips.
