pkd blaster
The Phlanger-Katsumata "Doppelgänger" (PKD) series blaster is a futuristic looking and very powerful and devastating handgun from the 1982 cyberpunk movie Blade Runner.
Because of its stopping power it is the weapon of choice of most Blade Runners when "retiring" Replicants.
The name of the weapon shares the same initials from the real life science fiction author Philip K. Dick as a tribute, since he wrote the short story on which the movie was based. The prop for the film was developed using parts from a revolver and the firing mechanism of an old Austrian battle rifle.
