A reoccurring boss in Metroid. A colossal reptilian that guards the depths of Brinstar. He is one of the largest monsters encountered in Metroid.

He has green scales and is covered in spikes throughout the top of his head as well as along the back of his neck. He has three red solid eyes, a mouth full of sharp teeth with a single nose horn and his hands only has two clawed fingers on each. As a means to attack his stomach shoots out spikes.
