kawasaki (company)

A Japanese company specialized in heavy machinery and motorcycles.

Its origin can be traced back to the early 20th century when the company was one of the major zaibatsu in Japan. Along with its rival Mitsubishi, Kawasaki produced a wide variety of civilian and military products.

Its name comes from the surname of the founder. For a city with the same name, see Kawasaki (Kanagawa).
