kawasaki t-4
Subsonic jet trainer in use by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. It seats a crew of two in tandem, has shallowly-swept wings with small mid-span sawtooth leading edges, tricycle landing gear, and is powered by two turbofans exhausting under the all-moving tailplanes. It bears a resemblance to the Franco-German Alpha Jet, but its widely spaced engines give it a beefier appearance. Two underwing hardpoints enable it to carry bombs, rockets, and a special air-sampling pod developed by Kawasaki.
