A major antagonist of RWBY. CEO of the Schnee Dust Company, along with being the husband of Willow Schnee and the father of Weiss Schnee, Winter Schnee and Whitley Schnee. A callous and manipulative businessman, his amoral actions have given the company a bad reputation and driven his wife into alcoholism. He is the arch-enemy to Weiss, who actively works to restore the previous and better reputation of the company.
In Volume 7, Jacques wins the election for councilman after rigging the votes, with help from Arthur Watts. However, his treachery is found and revealed by his own daughter and Jacques is arrested for his crimes. During the conclusion of Volume 8, he is murdered by James Ironwood.
