hanbok
Traditional Korean clothing. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. It consists of a bolero-like jacket called a jeogori and either roomy pants bound at the ankles (baji) for men, or a long skirt (chima) for women. A hat called a gat is also common.
The high-waisted silhouette is derived from the traditional Chinese qixiong ruqun.
