halo framing
The symbolic framing of an image/scene to make a character appear as if they have a halo without an actual halo being present. Often done through having a light source behind the head. Almost always the subject in question would be unaware that this is happening.

- Fake halos, mechanical halos, and painted halos
- Sun/moons or other light sources behind the subjects head but not framed as in a way to resemble a halo post #8952034
