A meme character originating from Vinesauce's Joel, as a result of him reacting to a Taiwanese bootleg of The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy known as 7 GRAND DAD. A character popularized associated since with SiIvaGunner.
As a character, Grand Dad has two appearances: the first, more well-known, appears on the title screen of the bootleg, where he is depicted as a knockoff of Mario, utilizing the same sprite as Fortran from Dian Shi Ma Li but recolored and with an '王' on his hat rather than an F; the second lesser-known is his gameplay sprite, which replaces Fred Flintstone's head with that of Mario.
