特別じゃない、しあわせな時間。 夜マック 夜マック店長 夜マックアニメシリーズ
McDonald's Japan's post-5pm menu line-up, known as Yoru Mac (literally "Night Mac", with the alternate name of "McDonald's in the Night"), introduced in June 2017 first in Aichi, Gifu and Mie Prefecture, before being expanded nation-wide in March 2018. Several different products have come and gone as part of the line-up, and in turn, so too have several advertising campaigns.
In Autumn 2023, one such advertisement campaign launched, running from late September to early November, focused on depicting characters (ex. a family, a group of friends, etc. hanging out together) happily enjoying items from the line-up, in commercials animated by uraura ura-chan. The main mascots of the campaign are a set of Halloween characters, originally first appearing in a Spring 2023 Yoru Mac advertising campaign called "Yoru Mac Manager", even receiving their own dedicated commercial (post #6713997). The six commercials that released would collectively be entitled the "Yoru Mac Anime Series" by McDonald's.
One of the commercials, depicting a mother, father and daughter (post #6702154), unexpectedly went viral on western Twitter, resulting in tons of fanart. Later, another commercial featuring a boyfriend and girlfriend (post #6834868) received similar amounts of attention.
A year later, in Autumn 2024, coinciding with the McDonald's Favorite Character Grand Prix, another commercial featuring the family from the first commercial was made (post #8169424), with the Halloween character keychains being swapped out for a Grimace keychain.
