YANHE is a Chinese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Shanghai HENIAN Co. Ltd, and was released for the VOCALOID3 engine. Created for the VOCALOID China Project, she was illustrated by MQ.
She has short white hair, aqua eyes, and pale skin. She wears a white jacket over a sleeveless top, black shorts with criss-cross belts, stylized loafers and a single bridal garter with a ribbon. Her accessories are headphones and wristbands.
Yanhe's voicebank was originally made for Zhiyu Moke as a shota male vocal. Due to issues at the time, Yamaha took back the possession of Moke's character alongside the other Vocaloid China characters in development from HENIAN. As a result, the company urgently held a second character design contest, where the winning entry suggested an androgynous girl based on how the voicebank sounds, due to it being meant for a boy. This is why Yanhe looks and sounds very androgynous.
