The main character of Puni Puni Poemi, Watanabe Poemi is an insanely hyperactive girl with dreams of being a seiyuu. Ironically, she's voiced by Kobayashi Yumiko, who is already a famous seiyuu. This joke is further added by Poemi always calling herself 'Kobayashi'. She is the daughter of Nabeshin and Kumi-Kumi in an alternate universe to Excel Saga. With the powers of a magical dead fish (no, I'm not making that up), Poemi can transform into Puni Puni Poemi to protect the Earth from an alien invasion.
